Why is the Menton lemon so famous? How is the Menton lemon different from other yellow lemons?

The Menton lemon is juicier. Its peel, rich in essential oils, is very fragrant and gives off a scent of fresh lemongrass.

In the Menton region, lemon trees grow in a mountainous environment that is difficult to access. The cultivation is therefore not industrialized, maintenance and harvesting are done by hand.
The lemons harvested are therefore of better quality and are more fragrant.
