Strawberry, Pineapple and Guava Jam
A mixture of fruits cooked in a cauldron: very ripe pineapple in small pieces, strawberries and pink guava for sweetness as well as a little lime juice to wake up the taste buds with a tangy note. Almost like a jam, a little less sweet with seasonal fruits from here and elsewhere for a sweet and fragrant whole!
The guava we use is a tropical fruit shaped like an apple, with salmon pink flesh, slightly grainy, juicy, fragrant, and dotted with small hard seeds, not very pleasant but edible! The optimal season is from December to February, but it is available all year round, especially in the form of puree, juice and of course guava jam !
Pineapple is an exotic fruit with golden flesh, very juicy, its acidity disappears partly when cooked. It is delicious salted or sweet, raw or cooked.
France, through the French Overseas Territories, is the leading European producer of pineapples, the peak season is from October to April. You can therefore find them all year round, especially in pineapple jam !

- Shelf life 3 years after the date of manufacture, as long as the jar is not opened.
Best kept cool after opening.
